Darren is from Australia and has been sailing since the age of 10, starting out on catamarans. After sailing in places all over the world he settled down to live in Jersey, 20 years ago.
In Jersey he has developed his passion for yacht racing and cruising in its amazing tidal waters. When not on a yacht, or around the harbour, you can usually find him speeding around St Aubin’s Bay on his Hobie Cat.
Darren is also a past commodore of the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club.
Darren is a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore and an RYA Cruising Instructor, who takes great joy in sharing his passion for all things sailing with others.
